The Rainbow's Message

A rainbow puts a smile on faces
no matter their color, creed, or races
A single beam of light, pure white
   refracted into colors' spectrum
by the strength of sun rays' light

    God's message is diversity
    not monolithic 'uni-versity'

The sign for Noah that God made
   teaches not just toleration
   but also celebration of
     ~ every person's color
        every person's shade

     Based on the writings of
     Rabbi Ahron Soloveichik,
   "The Warmth and the Light,"
   pgs 19-24, Genesis Press, 1992

Yes... God keeps His promises... the rainbow was a reminder of His covenant with Noah to never destroy the world again with a flood... Love this, Gina

The rainbow is one of my favorite of God's inventions. This glorious mystery hidden in light! How marvelous are His ways!

Nicely done, Gershon, enjoyed reading..It rained for 40 days and 40 nights when God wanted to cleanse the world and start over. (Gen 7:12 KJV) And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. Hugs Eve

That's right, Eve: 40 days and 40 nights... Though Noah was stuck in that ark a whole year with all those animals, raising lots of thorny questions, which I think we'll DUCK tonight! Thanks for the feedback. ~ Donald (Quack, Quack)
