The Rainbow

We were given a high alert of windstorm last night.
The rustling of the leaves in the wind woke me up.
The wind caused the non-stop banging of my front
door I ignored to move my body along with the music.

The strong winds stopped after a few hours that I looked
up the sky, the gray clouds covering up the white ones
and then gone turning the sky to a dull blue or livid.
The sun started shining brightly, but the sky remained dull.

Rather than focusing on the wind alert for today and
tomorrow, what would it bring and the dull blue sky,
I am thinking of the rainbow, the beauty and the colors
of the rainbow giving hope for the wind to die down.

The rainbow colors represent the visible light spectrum.
Red for passion, love
Orange for energy, creativity
Yellow for cheerfulness, positivity
Green for nature, renewal
Blue for calmness, trust
Indigo for intuition, awareness
Violet for imagination, spirit

The rainbow is regarded as a symbol of hope, renewal and
promise of better times; hope across the universe, renewal
of the mind for positive change and promise of better times
in believing a brighter future ahead with optimism and positivity.

Darlene, thank you for visiting. You're such a lucky dame to see a shining rainbow on the floor when the sun goes down, what a lovely sight. Hugs, Marilene

Thanks so much Anne-Lise. Fire raging here caused by the windstorm. I feel bad and sad for all the people who lost their homes. Hugs.

Hi Mariline, that's interesting, what the colors represent. I'm curious, do you happen to live in the Los Angeles area? We're having a bit of a challenge, here.

Thanks so much David. I personally didn't suffer a fire loss and I thank the Lord. I feel for the ones who did. It was scary in a way that i am just within in a five mile to twenty five mile radius from those fires, east, north, south, west. The Studio City and Sunset fires. Thanks again.

Good luck to you and your friends! I lived my whole life in Los Angeles County but recently moved to a retirement community in Seal Beach, away from the fires. I still have a house in Mar Vista, and friends in Santa Monica and Alta Dena, and am hoping for the best.

Yes, I am in Los Angeles County, in No. Hollywood in San Fernando Valley. It's 12 miles or so north of Hollywood. On the southeast side of my house, you can see black sky from the fires. Thanks for visiting, David. Blessings.
