The Quatrain King

A certain someone
Made fun of me
Noticed my big use of
Quatrains if you please

I laughed and chuckled
I'm stuck in this bind
If I tried something else
I'd surely go blind

In the years to come
They'll be writing bout me
The Quatrain King
Stuff ya gotta see

May sound egotistical
Well maybe that's so
But renowned the world over
From New York to Seoul

Could try different forms
But that's not for me
My passion is Quatrains
So just leave me be!

Russell Sivey Date: 9/11/2013 6:11:00 AM I remember when you dabbled into other forms, you did pretty good my friend, but you just didn't feel comfortable writing in those forms...so you went back to your trusty Quatrains! I can't say that I blame you, it is fun writing in the Quatrain form, I still do it myself! There is something free about writing in this form! But I really do love writing in other forms, there is something challenging writing in other forms and you get a sense of accomplishment! This is a lovely poem, Great Work!!
