The Pyramid

Within each stratum, life resides—
Much like a train carving through snow.

We believed that single carriage was the sum of all existence.
Yet, through a fleeting, momentary glitch,
We crawled into the next car ahead.

As though an ant had turned into a bee, only to
fear the flower.

Yet, they do not welcome us.

The world is a pyramid,
And within its confines, we must remain.

Dreams, hope, and love
Flow strictly inside its walls.

Music drifts along.
Wine overflows in abundance.

Yet we cannot belong within that goblet of wine
—
Only spilling over, returning to where we first
began.
