The Promise of a Poet's Cat

^*^ The companion cat is quite poetical. Soft a bunny~ with whiskers, delightfully comical. Kissing me as I attempt to pen! Dancing on my keyboard like a drunken hen! You get me centered each day, Irene, dearest cat in every way. We watch sunrises and rainfalls together. You calico dream, in all my poetical endeavors! May I love you~ in all our days together! And may in time, in Heaven meet, To walk eternally together on God's most auspicious streets! 6/12/2021

True, very true. In the community where I live, cats are not allowed outdoors. Funny though,many feral cats visit Irene through the window.)) Pangie xx
