The Pristine View

At the pristine view
the sky was fresh cleaned glass
and the gulf lost it's waves on purpose.
The sun flew high
unashamed, swollen with thoughts
of traveling to the other side of the world
and sound waves slowed
'till peace and an overwhelming
scorching sense of sleep evaporated
from the air, through my skin.
My eyes caught sand on my towel
and closed, an oyster over a future pearl
soon to mimic the sun
swollen with my own around the world dreams.
