The Prism

blaming Islam for terrorism
like
blaming Christianity for colonialism
like
blaming Judaism for zionism

laughing the one eye of the prism
hovering slowly over the throne, the capstone
on wings of isms and shizms dividing and conquering all the way home
no eyes to be trusted anymore, but I'm sure you can feel it to the bone

look around, this playground, this land, we need an embassy in the very place we still so call home

oppression and silence are contagious and it's anything but norm
