The Powerful Mind
The night air is cool to my lungs. A light breeze softly kisses my cheek as my eyes look up to the silence of the sky. I can hear the crickets off in the distance chirping their magical tune. Here it is 2AM in the morning and noone is around, the world seems so quiet and void of people. The darkness is broken slightly by the twinkle of the starlight. I can feel my eyes cover in water as it seems my mind has seperated from my body. I feel almost weightless as my eyes soar to the sky. There is a disconnect as I let my gaze go deeper into the stars. I am here, alone at this single moment and I can feel relaxed. Like the last person on a long beach, I can feel peace and harmony. The world is mine and I can dream without interruption. Weightless, my spirit can soar to the clouds or ride on the wind, I can travel to places distant and as far as the planets. I leave behind my body as I let my mind travel with the thoughts, wherever they carry me. Floating along the waves of the oceans, or skipping like a stone across a lake. My mind can carry me anywhere that makes me feel safe, anywhere I may want to go.
