The Powerball Lottery
A drawing is held at night on Wednesdays.
Another selection is drawn nightly on Saturdays.
The grand prize is always twenty million or more.
All over the country, there are betters galore.
For one ticket, I only spend two dollars that I've got.
I realize winning the jackpot is an infinitesimal shot.
There are smaller prizes, but they are hard to get too.
Winning anything is what everyone wants to do.
To you newcomers, I give you this warning:
The vast majority are doomed to disappointment the next morning.
