The Pope In Eire

The Pope came to Eire And found millions there But they did not care For priests anywhere He dealt with the nuns And all of the puns Regarding bare buns And Irish squirt guns But what of "The Church" And those who besmirch The rap of a birch For those in the lurch? The Pope says, "We're fine And now toe the line To forgive is divine…" God damn filthy swine!

Bravo Rico, it really beggars belief that all they need to do is go to confession, say 3 hail Mary's get absolved for their 'sins' and then go on to commit abuse again and again - grrr at the church:-( hugs Jan xx

The Pope's response is to be, "humble and silent" and to turn the other cheek, but did not state whether he meant the upper or lower cheek ……… Aloha! Rico

Forgiveness may be "divine", but such appalling abuse of trust by priests, nuns, Donald Trump, - and USA Immigration putting kidnapped children in cages to be physically, mentally and sexually abused, defies any definition of "divine"! It won't be long before Oxford's removes "integrity" from the dictionary! Aloha! Rico
