The Poets

Poets

I sing my song,
	and you hear me.

I listen, again,
	and call thee.

I listen.
	You listen.

I sing.
	You sing.

Like birds,
	we are,
near
	or far,
poems
	they are,
our
	melodies.

Good Morning Martin. I enjoy titles and your title caught my eye to turn the page. I'm glad I did. This is free verse at its best. You have captured poets and music wonderfully because yes they are connected in my eyes. As one who will forever be a free verse person it was an honor turning to your page and your particular entry here. Thank you for sharing your poetic talent. Have a wonderful day and weekend.
