I feel bound to sustain my love for you in this verse, However, none of what I wrote appears to be terse. I wished to express how attractive you are, And say how bright your eyes are like stars. I wished to tell you that your rays were missed, I wish to be real when I cease my gist. I would buy flowers every day if I could, I have been thinking about this for the good. To be seen in this unwritten poem of mine, If I could, I'd tie my heart to your faint signs. I was thinking about the time I had noted this, I scrutinized it while kneeling on one pelvis. I do not agnize how I developed this lyrical idea, When you embezzle, my best muse with my stria. Written: October 08, 2022 The Poems I Never Wrote Poetry Contest Sponsored by: Craig Cornish

I like the word used in the last line "embezzled" for sometimes I feel like someone has embezzled my idea from my poem. LOL..This one reads like a good contender for the contest to me. Way to go. Thanks for sharing and for dropping by my page. Sara
