The Plea for Mercy and Strength

Starting a day with a sigh of grief,
Reflecting as a fading flame
Looking right at the mirror and feeling blinded
Like a sheep wandering lost in the dark forest.

Nothing in life is free
And I don't know how this road goes,
All the walls are shattered into pieces
As if I'm wounded in the battlefield.

My Lord, show me right from wrong,
As Thy know all of my insecurities.
Never allow me to go astray
And let me stay close to Thee.

I ask Thee, o God, for the strength I need,
As I'm conquered by your mercy
Guide me all the way to Thy path,
Waiting for the end of time.

I greet you all in the name of the Almighty God who is the Most Gracious and Most Merciful. This unique poem that I wrote is not that I felt like writing, it is a way of expressing my faith in God and it is expressed in the Bible through Matthew 12:28, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." May God bless you all abundantly.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
