I used to have sullen eyes Until I fully realized Instead of pity cries I am a phoenix rised Out of the ashes, a new man reborn Stitching together the sashes, what once was torn Attempting to mend the unmendable When I was at a time, so unfriendable Kicking the trash to the curb Self hate is absurd Despite what you heard Self spite can be cured I write to be heard Inspiration is spurred My soul was disturbed, turmoil.. in a stir Instead of a bark, i'll now be a purr
