The Person I used to be

I used to be younger I used to be stronger I used to be a good lookin’ whore monger I used to be more lackadaisical More free lovin’, more free thinkin’, less reliable My hair hung low all the way down my back I didn’t have a care or a lack of a lair I always had my brother's back, still do But just not as much with the lack of you In my life now I used to be surrounded by friends I used to be less lonely, and rarely alone I used to be a little less stuck in the mud I used to be in a lot less pain A lot less strain on the brain Or in my back If only there were a pill To just make me feel Young again. Ahhh, to feel young again! Is that a whole lot to ask for?

Well, if I could flip my soul inside out, and turn my flesh into a rubber ball, then bounce everything off the wall, maybe the people in hell want to drink ice water. However, I like the thought of what I used to be but now I want to be young and free as a bird in the southern wind. Nice stuff!

Amen! Wouldn't that be wonderful?! When we lose this flesh body for our Spiritual one, I believe we will all be young and strong again. For we are promised no more pain or tears. <3xo

Perhaps it's a state of mind. My vocabulary only goes up to 79 as far as years are concerned. I've adopted 16 as it was a good year.
