The Perfect Scent

All it took was one drop of water,
To fall on her silken gown.

One gentle touch of wind,
To misplace her crimson hair.

With one stroke from our intertwined hands,
To caress down her yearning thighs.

And
For me to fall in love with her,
And amid the aroma of love that she suffused,
On her soft skin.

We loved and made love,
But such a sweet symphony of angel’s chorus never lasts.

She shared her cherry lips,
With another mortal.

She shared this thing we called love,
With another being.

But the sweet smell of her betrayal,
Never left the comforts of my bed.
