The Perfect Place

Soon spring wildflowers will appear Red Larkspur in the meadow near, And sweet honeysuckle blooming With birch twigs ready for brooming All to the stroller bring good cheer. Strolling through the meadow I find A peace enhanced with beauty rare, The perfect place to say a prayer* Where one may come to clear the mind, And leave one’s worries far behind.

Autumn has just arrived in Australia, It too is a beautiful season. The wondrous, amazing burst of colours could only come from Nature and God's paintbrush. Nature helps us all to cope with the craziness of the world we live in at this time.

And so it does! Thanks so much for your read and your comment. We are looking toward early Spring here, of course. It's still chilly and the weather somewhat unpredictable.

I agree, Milt. Prayer is one-syllable. I liked this one, very peaceful. Bill

Thanks, Bill. Sometimes, I simply must point these things out. (chuckling)
