The Perfect Pangie Heaven

Meant to be humorous…Pangie Dear Lord, only one sincere wish, I do ask. And no it’s not for whiskey in a silver flask! In the life in the awesome, world to come. A muscled hockey player, I beg to become. One, with courage and strength to fight. And cheered on , by cherubim in starlight A knitter of things,oy, I shall never be. Just very joyful to crack a few knees! Hope there will be a large red Zamboni! After the game, requesting some Spumoni!

Hi Linda, I did mean a real fight. LOL. I can’t skate anymore, aww. Next life? Exactly as I would like it,a dude hockey player. A hockey player told me that I wouldn’t like that.he said the locker rooms really stink. Maybe notin heaven, Pangie..Zambonie lover

It was meant to be fun! Not many women want to be hockey players. Rare, I’d rather be in the NHL than at home writing poetry. Yikes,boring, I prefer being with people …than on the iPad. I never know who is real. Panagiota xx

Bob, thank you for dropping by! Exactly! Your analysis is spot on. This is a poem about me. Not any other woman, I was never trained in any of the domestic arts. That does not mean, I don’t appreciate them in others. My background is in arts of nursing, education and the joys of politics and discourse, primarily with males. Greetings. Hockey is my favorite without a doubt. But I can only play in heaven when I’m younger, and I don’t think they have hockey teams for older women do you? That would be pretty funny. P S. I did try to play soccer with men and that was a disaster. But I like soccer and especially the soccer from Europe when I see the games on TV. Because I dated a top European soccer star when I was younger.life goes by so fast, Much like an exciting hockey game!! Panagiota xx My error…you said prayer…I saw player)))

Praying to the hockey god...if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Clever poem that I could imagine a twelve-year-old making the same request(in the present life). Love the line about cracking knees, too.

Gee, you make me feel young. Since I love hockey and most women think it’s a Macho sport for alpha males, I can see women, not commenting. NOR would they have. The courage to get on a stage and do stand up comedy. Sad, they will March to abort babies though~disgusting murder is cool with women! Not me! and are a bit fearful of politics in poetry? So it’s no wonder my regular readers are males. I admire men. We women are far too sensitive. This fas been a dream of mine for decades, too weak to play in real life but maybe in heaven !You ,Robert and Gershon. Have my back, always! I owe all three of you.And Bob Hinshaw . How did I miss this! So sorry, I don’t think it’s a rough game, maybe I am looney? I have gone for years, there is much camaraderie anf sometimes TWO players scuffle. Boxing is a horrible sport, Expensine a ld bllody. Plus ruins minds…..think about that Panagiota x x

Yes. Big hockey fan…Oddly enough, not in Chicago! But of the San Jose Sharks. I went to so many games, I once got to hug the real Stanley Cup. It was way bigger than I ever imagined . I got to know some of the team, too. Canadians are way sweet, eh? I was an ice skater each Sunday at the Chicago arena. Thank you. Pangie Skating off Thank yo Pangiitia xx
