Notes About The Poem

The Perfect Facebook Life

Some Facebook friends seem to have a perfect life,
A perfect husband, perfect family, no stress or strife.
I wonder how many lives are problem free…
Are they really that happy and carefree?

My life isn’t perfect, but I try to make the most of each day,
Trying to enjoy my life before I am old and gray.
God only gives you so much time on earth before you die…
Then the faithful will have a perfect life in a mansion in the sky.

I haven't done much Facebook, but I do understand where you're coming from. Growing up my mother would always tell my sister and me, we're nothing like our cousins and how well behaved they our compared to us. Believe me the grass isn't always greener on the other side! Great write!
