The People I Love

On the subject of friends,
I have few to claim.

To clear the air,
friendship is the unconditional love of another human being by accepting them at thier worst
and enjoying them at thier best.

These people in my life are few,
but are held high above many others in this respect.

The times we enjoy together are the times that I know I will never forget.
Late night talks that end with sunrise are commonplace,
and so are those spent intoxicated and rowdy.

My dear friends,
I thank you very much.
I could not pick a more haphazardly thrown together crew,
and even as this is true,
we love each other and would not have anyone substitute the other.

No one could have ever given me so much support in my troubling times,
or could have celebrated my higher times in my short lived life.

So I leave these important few with words of thanks and high praise.
I love you all and let us GO HARD in everything we do, after all, we wouldn't expect anything
different from each other.
