The Peace I Understand

It is enough to crawl inside my fuzzy faith and sleep upon my soporific pillow, clutching to my breast my favorite God (you know the one) who keeps the fetid, dying children far away, though quite secure within their refuge underneath strong wings of steel, then sends his fierce angelic legions hovering above my rest. ~

Remember " It is the aftermath that sings--of tragedy and peace, When it rings in our ears, the spoils are ours, and we need them as much as we need water and air. And it is never too late" Sorry could'nt resist. Sometimes knowing we can't fix all the ills in the world it is a healthy reaction to do something that we can do- which it to write about it and awaken others.....keep on writing your worthwhile poems. That I will do, milady. Few there are who feel as I do, but it is a comfort to know that they are there.
