The Path of Intention

Like Roger and Monica, we madly
Made love, in dalliance; it wasn’t a question
Of status---the who’s who in love

But a time
To receive
And be received as well; you and I

Not the perfect couple though
Yet the longings of our breath were shaped out
From the very same skin of inner craving

Clearly, no one’s legitimate
To debate the issue of morality, yet we must
Remember the precious time

When our bodies settled
Calmly, into the path of our erotic desires
Like Roger and Monica
