The Passion of Night

Night falls on the earth
Like a passionate lover
Overwhelmed by desire
It rolls down the hill sweeping
Leftovers of days’ psyche
Grabbing the last reflection
Of sinking ray of light
In the pond under the willow
Then turns around and
Lovingly gently brushes
The surface of grass
Creating the mood of night
Before the orgy of darkness
Opens the door to the raw
Untamed fiery passion
That is deeply asleep
During the day
