The Outlandish Outbreak:Covid-19

THE OUTLANDISH OUTBREAK {COVID-19}

The world seems to be fading
To black, ever since Corona's arrival;
Could it be the end of time
Or this is just another La Llorona's rival?

There is no sun outside today,
Could life be mourning
For 'tis coming to a halt
As the night does before the morning?

The formidable takes over the world,
And the infected hoping to get cured
Devours bullets—bullets for pills
And even combatants have run out of skills.

No vaccines? Stick with the prevention
And we might need a divine intervention
Before COVID-19 ruins us all
As we waste our days with wake-up calls.

Pledges to air filters, gloves and face masks
Cleanliness, the king to handle these tasks;
Touch not your face
Or you fall from grace,
Handshakes be forbidden like we have what it takes
To battle this disease
With our lives at stake.

Why should the world end this way?
With venom among the senile and youths,
With scarcity and fear,
And unfairness everywhere.
And if we'll all end up dead,
Remember what the sages said,
Life is not our creation
And everything happens according to fate.
