The Other Side of Heaven
We were born purely innocent
All unaware of where we're dropped
Some had it harder than others
But soon the innocence is stopped
Then life becomes about choices
And the bad ones I made a lot
"Over there", I'm quite sure I'll be
Just begging for any old spot
There are those who love cold crisp air
And John Denver's "Rock Mountain Way"
But it's the other side of heaven
Where my old cold butt wants to stay!
