The Other Me

The Other Me Written By: Famekia Dingle Within me we correspond About the simple ways I go about my day. Sometimes you stop me to say Good job, well done, and you did great Often you’ll wake me up with a song And it will keep me going all day long. I feel sometimes like maybe I’m crazy It seems as if no one understands me. Not you, you never let me down, you’re always my friend No matter what I do you’re there till the end. You have given me comfort in my loneliest time. You’ve been there even when I didn’t have a dime. You’ve built me up where I was not strong You’ve walked with me my whole life long. If I didn’t know any better or if I tried to pretend I would have to say you are another person within. Walking, Breathing, Eating, Sleeping, and Thinking Just as I do But we won’t tell anyone Let’s keep that between me and you.
