The Other
There is a lovely place
on the other side of time
Where boundless love and grace
forever intertwine.
Not pain nor loss or fear,
no creature from the dark
Will ever enter here,
they cannot pierce your heart.
Held safely in God’s hands,
all strife will fade away
Called from exiled lands
on the promise that He made.
The door is now flung open
and never will it close
For all who have been broken
and won’t deny her rose.
Father I am sinful
yet you love me as your own
I stand poor and faithful,
come down and take me home.
