The Ordinary

Colorless unremarkable covers
Strong binding slowly transitioned thread bare
Pages gone, wasting disappearing now

Worn with ultimate affection and care
Progressive once, remaining a classic
Transferring through intellectual heirs

Longing to escape to Serene attic
Residing in a now forgotten home
Silent ,and yet constantly Reciting

Slowly finding True solace in a Dome
Longing to escape yet bearing quiet
Executed inside a Honeycomb

Satisfied with Bare Poetic Diet
Mindful obedient and compliant

Nice expressions on the thing ordinary. Please give once over to the rhyme if it is for a contest.
