The Onyx Stone

Deep in the forest is a huge stone
completely made of onyx
and it sits there and shimmers

I visit this stone to pray
as I sit at its base
and wish wonders to be had 
with the love of my life

And the stone talks to me
it says I will have happiness
and my love and I 
will be as one

I polish the stone of onyx
with a soft cloth
and it shines so bright 

This stone tells me the truth 
and says I will find my way
with my love 

I shall leave the stone
and I will get married
and will always be thankful
for the wisdom it shed
