The Only One Who Did Not Notice
When Joy entered the interview room the ambiance changed from gray to pink
Dead crows and deceased bats were replaced with lively butterfly faeries
The other applicants sensed a turn and broke into a positivity song
Derek a personnel director who is a drip, did not notice
He was the only person in that room who did not feel the shift.
Sad that he is the hiring component, isn’t it?
