The Only One

You have always been the one
You, who had ruled my heart.
I still can't get over these feelings
Even after knowing we cant even start.

I wish you had stayed away.
Even after knowing we can't even start
I see myself shimmer away.

I wish you had stayed away
So that my heart could be in peace.
I see myself shimmer away
Whenever the truth of your rejection I do feel.

I tried forgetting you
Whenever the truth of your rejection I do feel
I wonder if I would ever heal.

I try hard to move on
Although I still couldn't get over these feelings
I wish I could somehow forget
That you've always been the one.
