The One Thing

I fight the urge to cry, and the urge fights me
I took all the courage I had to tell her
She denies it, and throws it back at me.
The one thing I have hidden for so long,

I took all the courage I had to tell her
I watch it all fall apart
The one thing I have hidden for so long,
And she goes and breaks my heart.

I watch it fall apart
She denies it, and throws it back at me.
And she goes and breaks my heart.
I fight the urge to cry, and the urge fights me.
