The One I Love

The One I Love. I love you dear, with all my heart. I know that we will never part. I know the love we have is true. So there is nothing I need to hide from you. You never fail to make me smile. Even though we're apart by much more than a mile. I long to see you face to face. And feel you hold me in your warm embrace. My life and my love, I give it all. Because I know you'll never let me fall. You're the one I love and you mean so much. You use the sweetest words and the most gentle touch. My love for you is like a never ending flame. And I know yours for me is exactly the same. As the sun rises, and the moon sets, the day is new. It's another day that I am with you.

Thank you so much. This is my first ever self written poem without using someone else's as a reference. Every word came from me. I'm surprised at how well it turned out. ^_^
