The One

He saw me with different eyes, saw someone I don't always see
He made a better person I never thought I'd be
He made me see a different world, that taught me how to care
Where I gave away my heart without being scared
It was no longer about learning how to put up new walls
The instant I met him, they all seemed to fall
If there was one thing I could wish on everyone
It would be to let them feel this same kind of love
The last time I close my eyes,
In the instant I know I'm going to die
I will have known love only few have known
And that there once were arms where only I belonged
