The Nurse

Hurrying towards an alley. Chill air urges no dilly dally. Breath beneath cape rising. Inside a woman, in anguish, was writhing. The husband tried to wipe the beads of sweat, All in vain, a condition which she tried to forget. Childbirth pains suddenly revived. Cape off, the nurse has arrived.
