The Nose

No hiding place for me in your face; As the mountain cannot be hidden so do I. Standing on the face; more beauties were added; The eyes cannot see me neither the mouth. I am the mediator between the eyes and the mouth. If I refuse to act; the mouth will not eat; If I decided to move out of your face, you will be ugly. No matter how ugly I make look, no one dare cut me off, Before you commit sin, I smell it. As sensitive as I am, no sin pass me by. I am the root of all evils, whatever I deserve, I have it. I can make you to steal, I can make you to run miles with sin; With your eyes you admired; but with me you lust after sin. I know bitter and good taste of things; the brain, the mouth, and the eyes dances to my tone. Take away the nose from all souls, sin will be reduce. Block the nose, souls will drop death and sin will be no more. The eyes does not know how sweat or bitter is the food of sin; With the little two small holes of mine, no sin pass me by. The swine valued me, and lack nothing. The dark nose of a dog makes him a perfect detective than man. I am tired of been used as detective; The eyes deceives man but I don’t. Sitting on the face; displeases me. Your greedy appetites forced fluid out of me. I am delicate; and fragile never you exhaust; Some exhausted me and fix plastic; in their fight to make me stay, I refused. Written by Pastor Emmanuel Brown Omojevwe
