The Night's World

In the innocence of the night,
 Amidst the calm;the silence,
 Plays a smooth tune,
 Listen; its soothing, friendly,

A harmonious melody,
 In whispering tone,
 It comes……and goes,

Yet its steady;content;rhythmic ,
 Like an ancient flute,
 Like a humming bird,
 As humble as the violin,
 It brings back treasured memories,
Memories that linger more often than not.

The night sky,
 A piece of art,
 A magnificent gallery,
 A unique display,
 Takes all breath away.
 The stars ever decorative,
 The moon’s glare ever innovative.
 The swift breeze;
 Its tender caress,
 Find comfort in the night,
 Feel its magical embrace.
