The Night of Silence
Snow drifting through the midnight air,
Innocence and silence endures with care.
Lights glitter creating a blissful scene,
Each time they glow a sight so serene.
No one would ever believe this night,
The silence so musical, such a delight.
Now the shepherds march across the snow,
In gowns of pure white with a golden glow.
Giving the gift of lasting peace and grace,
Here a new beginning for the human race.
Today each year, we honor his birthplace.
