The Night Drinks Us In

The city’s streaming lights are incandescent veins, you and I a runaway fizz of champagne. From gilded parlor to speakeasy we carom, giddy bubbles out to carbonate the still night. And the city is now sparkling, intoxicating as new love.

Ohh a sparkling disco ball of shimmering imagery Bernard! I just love your amazing and shining lines in this write; 'giddy bubbles out to carbonate the still night' - the bliss and whimsy of this line delights me to no end! And the use of the word 'carom' just makes me soo happy. A fantastic write every line! :))
