The Next Generation
If you know what is coming,
doesn't the future frighten you?
Earth's climate is in a changing cycle,
Greenland's glaciers are already melting,
and all that water needs someplace to go.
No matter what skeptics say,
climate change is here today.
Global warming is heating the planet,
Nature doesn't recognize boundary lines
as She begins to traumatize the Earth.
We are running out of time,
and yet, so few seem to care.
Climate change is affecting us right now.
It's no longer in the realm of maybe,
and it's a process that we can't reverse!
We're seeing the first signs of
global warming's full impact.
Subtle changes are already showing,
and it won't be long before the seas rise
and the subsequent floods overwhelm us.
Must future generations
shoulder this burden alone?
