The New Math

When I learned to multiplicate,
two times four was always eight,
but nowadays, I find,
arithmetation blows my mind.

I was not bad at math. Algebra started out ok but I had really bad teachers. My geometry teacher was football coach. Talked about the team and left 6 min at end of class to give the lesson. A wonde I even passed. Geez I don't understand bad teachers allowed to ruin subjects for their students. I like your short fun poems like this.

I loved math. My degree is actually in mathematics. I was really lucky to have Mrs. Sherman for geometry in 9th grade and then in 10th and 11th grade, too. I always liked it, but I especially liked geometry, I remember. That's pretty bad when they put the football coach in who probably doesn't have much interest in the subject.
