Interesting comment, Mahtab. I think that in the USA, even without President Trump's refusal to wear a mask, a lot of Americans will willfully ignore medical science's advice, no matter what. Americans (outside of the a few east coast states) have become arrogantly anti-intellectual, whereas before this they were just somewhat stubbornly so.

Worrying though, some states having to reimpose restrictions as the damn virus keeps raising its ugly head. Masks offer false security, experts say it doesn't stop you catching it. Tom

Well, per the experts, the masks are pretty effective at stopping their wearers from spreading virus; they're less effective at preventing its wearer from catching it. So, if everyone wore masks, the virus would really be up against it. Unfortunately, so many people in the USA think that wearing a mask is either a joke, 'fake science,' totally politically motivated, or too much of an inconvenience for them (and their spoiled personas). Places where people are more humble are taming the virus. Not so here. ~ Frustrated!
