The Mystery of the Four Cactus

No one knows how this
Desert became about
The desert has cactus
There are two rolls of them
One row is separated
by a road
On the other side
Another row spread
In the evening the cactus

Light up the cactus bright
Further in the desert
Are cactus curved
Like a waterfall
Only in the eve
During the day the
The hunched cactus
Yet remain in their shape

All this happened in the strange desert

I am sure the desert has many secrets and many types of cactus. I would be to chicken to walk in it as am sure would step on a snake. Interesting poem not any desert here in Canada but some of our province looks like it in dry season. love phyl

Hi Darlene… your poem brought back memories of my trip to Arizona. It was the first time I ever saw a cactus and thet come in many types in Arizona. Also, many snakes. I took a tour of the desert and I really liked it. It’s so hot in Arizona.. not a place for me to live. Visiting is fine. Pangie x

I sent you mail about the many cacti, plural for cactus.enjoy, I answered your questions in mail. Arizona is wonderful. In February that year, temps got up in the 80’s. But I really enjoyed winning that trip. I loved white water rafting, even though I was scared to death.)) Pangie

The desert has many secrets. Because most of us only see the surface. We may never see one of its best kept secrets, its beauty.

Nice to know my friend - the desert is mysterious, how some plants survive in that extreme heat, they rarely see rain so their roots must go very, very hope I should imagine - Hope you are doing well Darlene. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.
