the day 
the poets died
a cloud past
over the eyes
of those 
who required
the dance
in music

storms
calmly stole 
electric love 
the new arrivals
raged on
while the 
beautiful dreamers 
woke too late

sunk raptures
looped on cue
sucked in 
by a progressive
8 ball
black holed sun
all the melodies lost 
burning the Echo drums 

the Musae
all 
silenced

drowned 9's
upside down
all murdered
inside out
missing in the
mute hearts of
suffocating 
Babylon

become the
beckoning 
Moirai

the day 
the poets died 
a cloud past 
over the eyes
of those
who required 
the dance
in music
