The Most Beautiful Love
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LOVE
O son of light, How you shine
Bringing me such delight
O seas that whisper, they still the soul
How refreshing is your emerald water, so cool
I watch far ahead, along the sandy pathway
Along the coast and watch the birds that
fly so high, my heart they sway.
I see the shallows slowly move and disappear…..
What blessings they bring, so fine, the mind
Cleared, O the winds that blow my being,
They caress, bring peace, how the soul feels,
Love is my inner goal
The spirit, how he consoles, the need to
refresh to heal
O wicked scars of darkest intent
Lift your mark and mend
That I might sour far above the earth
And once more find the most truthful life
of worth…
So give thy hand to me O lord
We’ll fly together
Your love as my only oar
O hands that have plucked my life chords
What love has caressed my tangled pain
Tis you O light, your grace to me
You have so offered and my whole
being afford
At last I am free.
