The Morning After

Laying in bed, viewing the ceiling in darkness, counting the seconds as I try to fall

asleep, wondering what is keeping me awake, tossing and turning making myself

sleepless, staring at the clock as time ticks away, I find myself in a place where sleep

doesn't exist, sitting on the edge of my bed watching the moon pass the sky, sleeping is

the only thing I look forward to during the nighttime, as I lay back down on my bed, I

close my eyes and let myself dream, moments later, the alarm sounds, the dream has

ended, awake in reality to see the sun sitting high in the sky, waking up the world to

start their day, I wish to stay in bed and lay there the whole day, but its time to start my

day.......
