The Moonlit Pulse
The distant hum of the night,
Cradling souls adrift,
"We" were beneath the silver hush,
Where the stars forgot to rush,
The tension of almost - love.
No word were said, yet
In every glance, a quiet clue,
Something tender,
Tender than a petal's fall in autumn air; grew,
The pulse beneath my fragile chest knew.
Your gaze - a lantern soft and wide,
Lit secret paths I held inside,
The moon above, it watched, it knew,
The intimacy amid two hearts,
Synching in silence.
No promises, No written verse,
Just you and I, the universe,
For hearts that meet in mystic grace,
Will find again that sacred place!
