The Moon, the Stars and Heaven, Too

Over the moon I threw a rope to drag it down to give to thee. This I did with a hope that you would come to love me. I pulled two stars from the skies to give to you to show my love. They paled compared to your eyes and so I sent them back above. For your love I would do anything you asked of me. If, my love, you only knew. If, my love, you could see. The stars, the moon and heaven, too. There's nothing I would not give to you. ~~~~ form : English Sonnet ~~~~
