The Meeting

You might stop to consider,
       next time we meet,
               what it is you seek.

And, if not, why did you meet,
I can't tell what is meek,
but I can feel what is bleak.

So try again, next time we meet,
         What it is one seeks,
then, it won't seem so bleak.
