The Media the Left and Right By Franklin Price 8/19/2018 The media, the left and right, As different as are day and night They most often disagree To keep the truth from you and me CNN and FOX are the extremes They both are nightmares, not sweet dreams The former, left as it can be The latter right for all to see From the truth, they pick and choose The people are the ones who lose If one is picked close to one's side We're taken on a one way ride Searched high and low for slantless news Reporting truths and not the views Thus far I've not had much success The media is such a mess Seems I remember in the day News was reported for their pay Was not created right or left What I see now makes me bereft
